Riggs: This scarf is made from yak khullu and blue faced LeicesterÂ
The yak khullu is from 2 and 3 year old yak it is prized for softness, breathability, warmth and natural elasticity. In this scarf this khullu is it’s natural colour.
The  Bluefaced Leicester wool has a long fibre length which adds strength and being a lustre fibre it has a certain shimmer of its own.
The combination of these two fibres make a scarf that is extremely soft warm, breathable and hardwearing I have also used the contrast between the Matt finish of the yak khullu and the lustre of the Bluefaced Leicester to add to this design .
This is a lighter weight making it ideal for spring or  autumn yet warm enough for winter with the extra width making it perfect as a shoulder wrap.
