Carlesmoor ochre 76% Yak

£105.00

Carlesmoor ochre is a more patterned scarf made with yak khullu and blue faced Leicester itinspired by the sheep being gathered in winter. The landscape is dark yet when the sheep gather for feed each day they bring a mass of colour with their bright coloured identification marks. The yak khullu is from 2 and 3 year old yak it is prized for softness, breathability, warmth and natural elasticity . The  Bluefaced Leicester wool has a long fibre length and being a lustre fibre it has a bright reflective surface that enhances the colour. The combination of these two fibres make a scarf that is extremely soft warm, breathable and hardwearing I have also used the contrast between the Matt finish of the yak khullu and the lustre of the Bluefaced Leicester to add to this design . This is a heavyweight winter warm scarf.
