Orkhon mulberry is a shadow weave design. It is a slightly more complicated weaving process where two threads are hand  woven side by side in equal parts one dark and one light give an impression of a 3D pattern. It is made with two threads that complement each other.
It is made from  yak khullu is from 2 and 3 year old yak it is prized for softness, breathability, warmth and natural elasticity and silk that is a natural fibre that is light smooth and has superb drape.It is also known for its ability to regulate temperature.
The addition of  a 50% silk 50%yak khullu yarn in this type of weave  gives it a drape that fits perfectly to every contour. This combination of silk and yak in a single yarn also create a lovely metalic finish which complements the matt khullu perfectly.
This is a mid weight scarf for spring, autumn or winter.
